Painter, draftsman, graphic designer, and Cuban muralist who lives and works in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Art in Havana (ISA) in 1982, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts with a specialization in Mural Painting. He also graduated from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in 1976. He was a professor and head of the Painting and Composition department at the National School of Plastic Arts (ENAP) for over a decade (1981-1993).
With over 40 years of experience in painting, he has participated in 20 solo exhibitions and over 70 group exhibitions. His paintings are included in the private collections of art connoisseurs in over 30 countries.He has been awarded six First Prizes in painting at the national and international level, including the renowned “13 de Marzo” competition sponsored by the University of Havana and the National Museum of Fine Arts in 1986. He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the National Council of Plastic Arts (CNAP).
