Alfredo Sánchez is a Mexican photographer whose compositions have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Panama, the United States and Belgium. Each of his figurative pieces creates a narrative-based series, which always has a “story behind it”. Sánchez prefers to shoot in his studio, as it gives him more control over his lengthy artistic process. Particularly meticulous about light, measurement and position, his distinctive works are completed through digital programs.

Alfredo Sánchez’s work is characterized by conscientiously crafted portraits that create moments of pure utopia. Like a choreographer, he composes each image as a dance full of colors, textures and beauty, highlighting the extraordinary in everyday life.

Among his signature series is “Roots & Wheat,” where Sánchez pays homage to nature and life, working in collaboration with makeup artists, painters, models and assistants to create captivating portraits that celebrate the wonders of the natural world.
